Raven Ridge lands notable first in France

We celebrated our first winner with John Hammond on Monday when Raven Ridge won his second French start at Compiegne.

Partnered by Antoine Hamelin, Raven Ridge scored by a neck from Zoutia.

Raven Ridge, a son of High Chaparral bred by Stonethorn Stud Farms, was purchased by Tony Nerses for 47,000gns at the 2013 Tattersalls Craven Sale. He won his second start as a two-year-old for Michael Bell and was placed in four of five starts the following year. He joined John Hammond in Chantilly late last year following his three-year-old campaign.
