Another win for classy homebred Justineo
Justineo got back to winning ways at Doncaster when the wide-margin winner of a 6f conditions race. The Oasis Dream horse has been highly tried throughout his career and boasts a win in the Scarbrough Stakes in addition to placings in the King George and Gimcrack Stakes.
“He had some time off and he´ll come on for that,” trainer Roger Varian told the Racing Post. “I think this is his time of year and after some tough tasks this season that will have done his confidence good. I don´t know whether he´s better at 5f or 6f, but he´s a horse with plenty of pace.”
Justineo was bred by Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar out of Listed winner Loulwa (pictured right), a Montjeu half-sister to Mill Reef Stakes winner Galeota.
Loulwa has a 2013 colt by Sea The Stars and a 2014 colt by Dansili.
