Australia colt for Princess Noor
Blue Diamond Stud welcomed a special first new foal of the year on Tuesday in an Australia colt out of our Princess Margaret Stakes winner Princess Noor.
He was swiftly followed on the same day by the arrival of a Sayif colt out of Alhanim.
The Australia colt is the second foal out of Princess Noor, who was trained by Roger Varian to win the Princess Margaret Stakes and run second in the Cheveley Park Stakes. The mare’s first foal is a yearling filly by New Approach and she is booked to Sea The Stars for 2017.
Princess Noor was purchased by Tony Nerses for £120,000 at the 2012 DBS Premier Sale out of the Camas Park Stud draft.
The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor is the best of six winners out of the Zafonic mare Gentle Night, a half-sister to Flying Childers Stakes heroine Land Of Dreams, herself dam of Dream Ahead.
The Sayif colt is the first foal out of Alhanim, a Pivotal granddaughter of champion Hatoof. Alhanim visits our new stallion Ajaya in 2017.
