Brave performance by Gulliver in Qatar
Gulliver continued on his upward trajectory on Saturday when running a brave third in the prestigious Dukhan Sprint at Doha, Qatar.
Ridden by Andrea Atzeni, Gulliver tracked the pace and although short of room for much of the straight, tenaciously battled up the rail to take third.
An excellent flag-bearer for our stallion Sayif, Gulliver now looks set for a productive European campaign for Hugo Palmer. He already boasts four wins for over £60,000 in earnings.
Gulliver was bred by Alun Douch out of Sweet Coincidence, a daughter of Mujahid who is also the dam of 1,000 Guineas runner-up Lightning Thunder. Gulliver was purchased by Tony Nerses for 50,000gns as a yearling out of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale.
