Dark Angel colt for Shaden
There was another very special arrival at Blue Diamond Stud last Thursday when Shaden produced her first foal, a colt by Dark Angel.
Quick and precocious, Shaden won her first start at Nottingham for Lady Cecil and after taking in the Queen Mary Stakes, returned to winning ways in a brave performance under top weight at Ffos Las.
Better was to come, however, when the daughter of Kodiac signed off her juvenile year with victory in the Group 3 Firth Of Clyde Stakes.
Shaden, who is out of the Listed-placed Lady Avenger and hails from the further family of top miler Lahib, is one of a number stakes winners and/or producers set to visit our triple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight this season.
