Decorated Knight colt with G1 family to sell at Tatts

A colt related to top Australian performer Humidor is set to represent Decorated Knight at the upcoming Tattersalls December Yearling Sale in Newmarket.

Offered as Lot 39 by Houghton Bloodstock, the colt is out of Desert Lily, a Redoute’s Choice half-sister to Listed winner Heart Ofthe Desert and to the dam of Australian Group 1 winner Humidor.

The family goes back to John Dunlop’s brilliant sprinter Habibti.

The first yearlings by multiple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight have been well received this year, with his progeny set to enter the yards of John Gosden, Roger Charlton, Sir Mark Prescott and Roger Varian among others.

With his first crop having sold for up to 190,000gns, he represents excellent value at 7,500 euros for 2021.
