Diva Rock is latest BDS-bred winner
Diva Rock became the latest two-year-old winner to emerge out of Blue Diamond’s 2017 crop when successful at Leicester on Thursday.

The daughter of Zoffany, bred by Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar out of Dashing, held on bravely to break her maiden in the 7f nursery for FTP Equine Holdings Ltd and trainer George Baker.
Diva Rock becomes the fourth winner out of Dashing, a regally connected daughter of Sadler’s Wells purchased for the stud by Tony Nerses. Dashing is out of Listed winner Renashaan and therefore a half-sister to champion Alexander Goldrun, a five-time Group 1 winner, and the Classic-placed Medecis.
Dashing’s winning daughter Azenzar remains in the stud. By Danehill Dancer, she has a yearling colt by Gleneagles, a colt foal by No Nay Never and is in foal to Shalaa.
