Easy win for homebred Blue Revelation
Homebred Blue Revelation overcame a length absence on Wednesday to win his second start, a maiden, at Lingfield.
The son of Exceed And Excel showed promise when fourth to Herald The Dawn at Naas last August and built on that for Paul Webber on Tuesday to score in cosy fashion.
Blue Revelation is the fifth winner from as many runners out of Epiphany, who joined Blue Diamond Stud when purchased for 160,000gns by Tony Nerses at the 2006 Tattersalls December Sale.
The daughter of Zafonic is from a noted Cliveden Stud family as a granddaughter of Madame Dubois, dam of Irish 2,000 Guineas hero Indian Haven and champion Italian two-year-old Count Dubois.
Epiphany has a yearling filly by Bated Breath, a filly foal by Exceed And Excel who is a sister to Blue Revelation and is back in foal to Sayif.
