Fadillah makes it two out of two at Nottingham
Fadillah retained her unbeaten record in determined fashion on Tuesday when successful in the EBF fillies’ handicap at Nottingham.
Ridden prominently by Pat Cosgrave, Fadillah made her effort two furlongs and kept on well to deny Bombilate to make it two out of two. The daughter of Monsun, who is trained by William Haggas, was previously successful on her debut at Haydock Park.
Bred by Ecurie des Monceaux and Haras de St Pair, Fadillah owns a pedigree out of the top drawer. She is from the final crop of the late German champion sire Monsun and a sister to the Classic-placed Soberania. She is also a half-sister to Group 1 winner Seismos and out of the winning Sasuela, a half-sister to the multiple Group 1 winners Samum and Schiaparelli.
This is also the immediate family of German Derby hero Sea The Moon.
