Frankel colt for Rose Of Miracles
A colt by the mighty Frankel and the first foal out of our Group 1-placed Princess Loulou are among the exciting recent arrivals at Blue Diamond Stud.
The Frankel colt, born on March 5, is the first foal out of the regally-bred Rose Of Miracles. The daughter of Dalakhani is out of a half-sister to champion Goldikova, the winner of no less than 14 Group 1 races, as well as the Group 1 Prix Vermeille heroine Galikova and Group 1-placed miler Anodin.
Rose Of Miracles now visits Dansili.
Princess Loulou, who won the Listed Gillies’ Fillies Stakes at Doncaster and ran second in the Group 1 Prix Jean Romanet during her career with Roger Varian, foaled a smart chestnut colt by Zoffany on February 27. Bred on the same Zoffany – Pivotal cross as the stallion’s first stakes winner Argentero, he is the first foal out of his dam, who now visits Invincible Spirit.
Zoffany’s relation Talawat, meanwhile, foaled a colt from the eagerly anticipated first crop of Gleneagles on February 25. The winning Talawat, by Cape Cross, is out of a half-sister to Zoffany and is another slated to be covered by Juddmonte stalwart Dansili this season.
Zari, who showed ability when scoring at Kempton during her brief career, foaled a fine colt on February 18 from the second crop of War Command, to whom she returns, while Aneesah, another highly regarded filly who was a winning two-year-old for Roger Varian, foaled a colt by our own stallion Sayif on March 2. Aneesah is one of 16 mares heading to our other stallion, Gimcrack Stakes winner Ajaya, this season.
