Frankel filly for Ellbeedee
There was a particularly exciting new arrival on Tuesday when Ellbeedee foaled a filly by Frankel.
She is the stud’s first Frankel foal born this year, although Blue Diamond also have two yearlings from the first crop of the brilliant champion – a filly out of Pearling and a colt out of Turama.
The filly is the third foal out of Ellbeedee, who joined the stud when bought by Tony Nerses for 220,000gns in 2013.
The winning daughter of Dalakhani is a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Uncharted Haven, herself dam of the Group 3 winner and Classic-placed High Heeled. This is also the immediate family of Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Just The Judge and goes back to the highly influential mare Mesopotamia.
Ellbeedee now visits Intello.
Another exciting recent arrival is Loulwa‘s colt by Oasis Dream. The colt is a brother to our classy sprinter Justineo, whose victories include the Listed Scarbrough Stakes at Doncaster.
Loulwa, who won the Listed River Eden Stakes at Lingfield for Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar, will now be covered by Mastercraftsman.
Dashing, meanwhile, foaled a filly by Iffraaj on March 31. The Sadler’s Wells mare, a half-sister to champion Alexander Goldrun and Poule d’Essai des Poulains runner-up Medecis, bred the winning Azenzar – herself now a member of the broodmare band – for Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar.
Dashing now visits War Command.
The stud also welcomed its fourth foal by Sayif on March 31 when Usem foaled an attractive filly. She is the third foal out of his dam, a Bahamian Bounty daughter of the high-class sprinter Ripples Maid.
Usem now heads to Ireland to be covered by Dream Ahead.
