Homebred Bella Alissa wins again
Bella Alissa continued our excellent run of success on Monday when taking the 5 1/2 furlong handicap at Brighton, her second win for Robert Cowell this season.
Given a good ride by Pat Cosgrave, Bella Alissa made strong headway on the inner to take command a furlong from home and win going away. It was the second in five starts for our homebred three-year-old, and the Racing Post remarked that as a relatively lightly raced filly in good hands, ‘she should be winning again this year’.
Bella Alissa is the first foal out of Crazy Too, an Invincible Spirit daughter of Listed winner Reform Act. It is the further family of American champion Pleasant Stage.
