Lovely first foal for top 2yo Princess Noor
Blue Diamond Stud welcomed a very special first foal of the season on Monday when top two-year-old Princess Noor foaled a filly by New Approach.
The attractive filly is the first foal out of her dam, who was trained by Roger Varian to win the Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot.
A brave and tough filly, Princess Noor also ran second in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.
In all, Princess Noor won two races and £72,828 in prize-money.
Princess Noor was purchased by Tony Nerses for £120,000 at the 2012 DBS Premier Sale out of the Camas Park Stud draft.
The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor is the best of six winners out of the Zafonic mare Gentle Night, a half-sister to Flying Childers Stakes heroine Land Of Dreams, herself dam of Dream Ahead.
