Homebred winner of the
    Gimcrack Stakes (Gr.2)

Ajaya was a particularly special flagbearer of 2015 as a Blue Diamond Stud-homebred.

The son of Invincible Spirit is the first foal out of Nessina, a Hennessy half-sister to the dam of the top-class pair Bated Breath and Cityscape from a powerful Juddmonte family.

Trained by William Haggas, Ajaya broke his maiden in impressive fashion at York before going under by only a head to Gutaifan in the Prix Robert Papin. A progressive two-year-old, he then returned to the Knavesmire to take the Gimcrack Stakes in dominant fashion from Ribchester. Back in third was another Blue Diamond Stud graduate, Raucous.

Ajaya retired to stand at Rathbarry Stud but sadly proved to be sub-fertile. He made a flying start to his stud career in June 2020 when his first runner, Igotatext, obliged at Lingfield Park and is currently represented by the high-class Fourhometwo, the recent winner of the Listed Celebration Stakes.
