‘Quality’ Canford Cliffs pair head acquisitions at DBS
Tony Nerses (right) has enjoyed tremendous success with DBS graduates in recent years as the purchaser of Cheveley Park Stakes runner-up and Group 3 winner Princess Noor, Group 3-placed Nezar and triple winner Bureydma in the last two renewals alone.
Next in line to maintain that tradition for Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar are four yearlings purchased to join the team this week: a Canford Cliffs filly x Decorative bought for £180,000, a Canford Cliffs colt x Child Bride bought for £140,000, a Dream Ahead colt x Poppy Seed bought for £130,000 and a Dandy Man colt x Roskeen bought for £60,000.
“They [the Canford Cliffs] were two of the nicest yearlings here. They both have a good bit of quality, athleticism and substance,” Tony Nerses told the Racing Post.
