Two exceptional colts to be offered by BDS at Book 1

Blue Diamond Stud will offer two exceptional colts at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale in Newmarket.

Both will be consigned through New England Stud.

Catalogued as Lot 432 is a Decorated Knight colt out of the high-class two-year-old Shaden, a daughter of Kodiac who carried our colours to victory in the 2015 Group 3 Firth Of Clyde Stakes at Ayr.

He is from the first crop of Decorated Knight, our homebred multiple Group 1 winner who stands at the Irish National Stud. By Galileo, he boasts a true stallion’s pedigree as a close relation to champion sire Giant’s Causeway.

Catalogued as Lot 448 is a Dubawi colt out of Listed winner Soon, by Galileo.

He is a brother to the highly rated Ascot juvenile winner Jousi and a half-brother to Summer House, a winner for Godolphin this season. Their dam Soon won two races for Aidan O’Brien, including the Listed winner Vincent O’Brien Ruby Stakes, and was also Group 3-placed on multiple occasions.

In turn, Soon is a half-sister to Derby runner-up Walk In The Park and out of Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Classic Park.
